Looking for a versatile and reliable handyman in Utrecht and surroundings? I’m here to help. From small repairs to larger projects: with craftsmanship, attention to detail, and smart solutions.
I offer help with small repairs to larger projects where craftsmanship and quality are needed, even when multiple trades overlap. I can brainstorm, provide advice, and/or create a design.
Do you have technical challenges that need a professional solution? I specialize in coming up with smart solutions. Let’s discuss your idea, and I’ll create a custom design. I can also bring it to life for you.
Securely mounting items to walls or ceilings, such as cabinets, bathroom furniture, paintings, curtain rails, lamps, or shelves.
Repairing or replacing for example: locks, doors, hinges, or faucets.
And still have things that need to be fixed, mounted, or finished? I’m happy to help.
Repairing woodwork or creating custom furniture, such as this (scaffold) wood seating area with table.
Staircase renovation with step covers, optionally with a sound-dampening layer.
This door was installed but not yet finished. I added oak trim, matching the house from 1600.
A hole in a beautiful oak herringbone floor, almost invisibly repaired using the same wood.
In this house from 1600, much of the plaster ornaments were damaged. I made silicone molds to reproduce them. I even turned one of the rosettes into a light dimmer.
This drain had been leaking for years. The connection was installed at an angle and filled with sealant. Since no proper angled fitting existed, I designed one in 3D and printed it with a 3D printer.
After an initial conversation, I estimate the required time, materials, and costs. Depending on the job, we agree on a fixed price or an hourly rate in advance. Once you approve the quote, I schedule the job.
Originally, I am a graphic designer (Education: Art Academy, Graphic Design).
Over the years, friends and acquaintances often asked me to brainstorm and solve household repair challenges. I realized there was demand for a skilled, versatile handyman—without needing a full-scale renovation. That’s why “The Handyman” exists.
What my eyes see translates into solutions in my head, and my hands bring them to life. I specialize in projects that require thoughtful advice, where decisions still need to be made, and where materials or techniques are not yet set in stone. I take pride in delivering quality work, creating beautiful things, and replacing missing parts where precision is required. Additionally, I’m highly experienced in 3D design and 3D printing, which is extremely useful for seemingly impossible repairs.
My creativity and craftsmanship make me the right person for home improvement jobs requiring precision and customization.
Although I mostly work as “The Handyman,” I also take on assignments as a graphic designer and UX/UI designer.
